Jane
$190.00
This antique tintype of a 19th century woman, who I've been calling Jane has been given a new life Spikey thorns embrace her portrait. Pearls hang below, softening the feel of the piece.
Tin type photography was introduced in 1853 by Adolphe Alexandre Martin in Paris. Tintypes enjoyed their widest use during the 1860s and 1870s.
She hangs on 18" silver chain.
I would advise taking her off when showering. She can probably handle it, but it will hold up better if care is given.
