Taxil Hoax is an esoteric Jewelry and Accessories line which is inspired by magic, nature, the darker aspects of history and the esoteric. My goal in making each piece is to capture the magical and mysterious aspects of long ago, and transform them into wearable artifacts. My pieces are meant to feel like unearthed treasures that tell a story of another time.

I have always loved making art, as well as collecting antiques and old trinkets. My favorites are the ones that feel ancient and imperfect. I began making jewelry when I realized that I had a lot of antiques that I wished I could wear. I began taking antique and vintage jewelry apart and put them back together to fit my style. Through time, my love for jewelry making has grown and I continue to learn new ways to create. When not working in my little cabin in the woods, I spend my time frolicking in the forest, rehabilitating the wild beasts, traveling to magical places, hiding in history books, and playing with my beautiful son, Odin  

I use mainly remnants from the past, found objects, or materials from nature, allowing me to maintain my ethic of reuse and recycle. Any animal product used is either found, antique, or from a cruelty free source.
